ENERCON 2012 Ц one the main stage for topical issues of RussiaТs oil and gas sector strategic and innovative development Ц has been held in Moscow at the premises of JSC Expocentre Fairgrounds 25 Ц 28 June 2012.
ENERCON 2012 managed to create conditions for live professional communication, exchange of views and hands-on experience of topical problems of the industry, exchange of expertise and new developments presentation.
Each year the number and global reach of ENERCON delegates grow dramatically. This year the Conference was attended by 824 delegates representing major oil and gas companies, professional societies and associations, R&D centers and academia. Also, delegations from basic hydrocarbon producing regions of Russia, including Bashkortostan, Far East Region, Komi Republic, Nenets Autonomous Region, Tatarstan, Udmurt Republic and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Region participated in the event. The attendees from over 20 countries, including Belarus, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Norway, Ukraine, UK, USA, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, etc. visited the Conference.
According to our delegates view, taking into account its substantiveness and the scope of its Technical Program, ENERCON seems to become one of the leaders in the field not only in Russia, but in Europe as well.
For three days two Plenary Sessions and six Business Sections of ENERCON 2012, hosted 52 papers and presentations by leading experts from OAO Zarubezhneft, NO Soyuzneftegazservice, OAO Rosgeologiya, OAO CGE, Institute of Oil & Gas Problems (RAS), OAO Lukoil, Gubkin Oil & Gas University, ZAO Neftegaztekhnologiya, ZAO NPK Spetsburmateriyaly, OAO Tatneft, OAO AK Transneft, and many others.
The Conference reflected dramatic innovation potential of Russian developments in oil and gas, which are on the same level with their overseas counterparts, thus could be successfully implemented for further development of this countryТs oil and gas sector.
Round Table Discussion culminated ENERCON 2012 proceedings, which produced the Summarizing Resolution, reflecting consolidated view of the professional community on further development of RussiaТs energy sector. At present, the Program Committee is carrying out work on finalizing proposals by leading oil and gas experts in a single document, which will be passed over to the Ministry of Energy.
ENERCON 2012 International Conference proved its validity as a unique mechanism for interaction between Federal authorities and the industry, aimed at the support of R&D and manufacturers of this country, as well as the headway for advanced Russian technologies.
